A rich, creamy smoothie packed with protein, perfect for muscle gain and quick post-workout fuel. Combines chocolate, peanut butter, and banana for a delicious and nourishing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled (frozen works great for extra creaminess)
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (plant-based preferred)
  • 1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (120 g; use dairy-free yogurt if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 34 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and break it into chunks. If frozen, let it sit for 5 minutes to soften slightly.
  2. Add the banana, peanut butter, and protein powder to the blender. Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds until creamy and smooth. Stir with a spatula if blender stalls.
  3. Pour in the chocolate almond milk and Greek yogurt. Blend for another 30-45 seconds until thick but pourable.
  4. Add chia seeds, honey (if using), and ice cubes. Blend on high for 15-20 seconds. Check consistency and add more almond milk if too thick.
  5. Blend for a final 10 seconds to ensure everything is well incorporated.
  6. Pour into a glass. Stir in more almond milk if needed to reach desired consistency.

Notes

Start with half a tablespoon of chia seeds if new to avoid digestive discomfort. Blend frozen banana chunks first to avoid ice chunkiness. For extra protein, add oats or cottage cheese. Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness. Blend in stages to avoid blender jams. Avoid overloading ice to prevent watery texture. Store in airtight container refrigerated up to 24 hours; shake before drinking.
