  • 4 ounces (115 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey (raw or wildflower preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (dill, mint, parsley, or oregano/thyme), finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 small clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces and finely chop the fresh herbs (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add the crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, and Greek yogurt to a food processor or blender. Pulse a few times to combine (about 30 seconds).
  3. While the processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and honey over 1-2 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Add lemon juice, black pepper, and minced garlic (if using). Pulse once or twice to mix evenly.
  5. Transfer the whipped dip to a mixing bowl and gently fold in the chopped fresh herbs with a spatula (about 1 minute).
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more honey or lemon juice if desired. Optionally add a pinch of smoked paprika for a smoky finish.
  7. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld and the dip firm up slightly.

Use room temperature ingredients for best whipping results. Slowly drizzle olive oil and honey while blending to achieve a smooth, fluffy texture. Fold in fresh herbs gently to preserve color and flavor. Taste before adding extra salt or seasoning as feta is naturally salty. Chill dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freezing is not recommended as texture may become crumbly.
