An easy, no-cook Halloween snack board featuring edible cheese string webs and pepperoni spiders, designed to be visually spooky and delicious for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • Mini Mozzarella Balls (Bocconcini)
  • Pepperoni Slices (small, round)
  • Black Olives (sliced)
  • Maraschino Cherries (optional)
  • Cheese String Cheese (Mozzarella)
  • Crackers (water crackers, wheat thins, or pretzel crisps)
  • Pretzel Rods or Twists
  • Assorted Cheeses (cheddar, gouda, or brie, cubed)
  • Fresh Fruit (grapes, apple slices, orange segments)
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels
  • Green Grapes or Olives

Instructions

  1. Unroll string cheese into long, thin strips. If brittle, microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften.
  2. Assemble spiders by placing a pepperoni slice on a mini mozzarella ball and pressing two black olive slices on top for eyes.
  3. Lay crackers on the board in a circular pattern to define the web area.
  4. Create the web by laying cheese strings radially across the crackers, then weaving them in a spiral pattern to connect the spokes.
  5. Place the assembled spiders onto the cheese web, hanging them from strings or placing them in the center.
  6. Fill gaps around the web with cubed cheeses, fresh fruit, and dark chocolate covered pretzels.
  7. Use pretzel rods to create additional legs for spiders if desired, and add green grapes for color contrast.
  8. Serve immediately at room temperature.

Notes

Let cheese sit out for 15 minutes before assembling to make it more pliable. Use toothpicks to secure olives if they are slippery. Serve at room temperature for best flavor. Do not freeze the assembled board.
