A quick and easy snack featuring spicy jalapeños stuffed with a creamy cheese blend, wrapped in crispy bacon, and finished with a sweet honey drizzle. Perfect for parties or casual snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 medium-sized fresh jalapeños
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top if available.
  2. Wearing gloves, slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño half, smoothing the tops.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with one slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Arrange the poppers on the wire rack or directly on the baking sheet, seam side down.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly, rotating halfway through.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for about 5 minutes, then drizzle honey over the poppers.
  9. Serve warm immediately.

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation. Use thin-cut bacon for faster crisping. A wire rack helps bacon crisp evenly. Drizzle honey when poppers are warm but not hot to avoid burning the honey. To reduce greasiness, blot bacon with paper towels after baking or use a wire rack.
