These Easy Candy Corn Fruit Kabobs with Yogurt Dip are a festive, healthy snack that comes together in under 15 minutes. Layered with pineapple, mandarin oranges, and bananas to mimic candy corn colors, they’re perfect for fall parties and a crowd-pleaser for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained well, or 2 fresh clementines, peeled and segmented
  • 2 large firm but ripe bananas, cut into 1-inch rounds
  • 1 cup honeydew melon, cut into 1-inch cubes (optional, for white layer)
  • 8 to 10 wooden skewers
  • ½ cup candy corn (such as Brach’s), for garnish
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full-fat recommended)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make the yogurt dip first: In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, the zest of half a lemon, and a tiny pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Taste and add another tablespoon of honey if desired. Cover and refrigerate while preparing the fruit.
  2. Prep the fruit: Cut the pineapple into 1-inch chunks. Slice bananas into 1-inch rounds. If using fresh clementines, peel and separate into segments. If using canned mandarins, drain well and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Assemble the kabobs: Thread a piece of pineapple (yellow), then a mandarin segment (orange), then a banana round (white) onto a skewer. Repeat until the skewer is full, ending with a banana piece. Leave about 1 inch of space at the bottom of the skewer for handling.
  4. Add the candy corn garnish: Gently press a few pieces of candy corn into the top of the pineapple piece on each skewer.
  5. Arrange and serve: Place the yogurt dip in a small bowl in the center of a serving platter. Arrange the kabobs around the dip like spokes on a wheel. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use firm bananas to prevent browning. Pat fruit dry before assembling to avoid soggy kabobs. The yogurt dip can be made up to 24 hours in advance and improves in flavor. For a vegan version, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup. To prevent banana browning, lightly brush with lemon juice.
