These Easy Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip Sliders are the ultimate quick and crowd-pleasing recipe, perfect for game day, parties, or busy weeknights. Made with simple ingredients like cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and shredded chicken, they come together in just 30 minutes for a deliciously messy, buttery, and tangy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian sweet rolls recommended)
  • Optional toppings: crumbled blue cheese, chopped green onions, celery sticks

Instructions

  1. Shred the chicken if you haven’t already. Place cooked chicken in a large bowl and use two forks to pull it apart into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Add shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook on low for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is hot and smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F while the crockpot cooks.
  5. Slice the slab of 12 slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  6. Spoon the hot buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese on top. Place the top half of the buns over the filling.
  7. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
  8. Bake uncovered for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  9. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness, watching closely.
  10. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into individual sliders along the seams.

Notes

For best results, soften cream cheese to room temperature before adding. To prevent soggy buns, toast the bottom buns for 2-3 minutes before assembling. Let sliders rest 5 minutes after baking for cleaner cuts. Leftover filling is great as a dip or on baked potatoes.
