A stunning and effortless charcuterie blossom board featuring a beautiful arrangement of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and edible flowers, perfect for bridal showers and elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Brie cheese, small wheel (soft, creamy texture)
  • Aged cheddar, sliced thinly (adds sharpness)
  • Goat cheese log, crumbled (for tang and creaminess)
  • Prosciutto, thinly sliced (delicate and salty)
  • Soppressata or spicy salami (adds a little kick)
  • Capicola, folded for texture
  • Green and red grapes, halved (juicy sweetness)
  • Fresh figs, quartered (seasonal, but worth seeking out)
  • Strawberries, sliced (color and brightness)
  • Marcona almonds (for buttery crunch)
  • Honeycomb or a small jar of honey (for drizzling)
  • Olives, Kalamata or Castelvetrano (briny contrast)
  • Pansies or nasturtiums (vibrant color and mild flavor)
  • Violas (optional for garnish)
  • Rosemary sprigs or thyme (optional for fragrance and garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: wash and dry grapes, strawberries, and herbs thoroughly. Slice strawberries and figs into bite-sized pieces. Halve the grapes.
  2. Slice and arrange the cheeses: place the Brie wheel near one corner of your board. Fan out thin slices of cheddar on the opposite side. Crumble the goat cheese in small clusters around the board.
  3. Fold and place the meats: gently fold prosciutto and capicola slices into loose cones or ruffles and arrange near the cheeses. Slightly overlap spicy salami slices in a curved line.
  4. Scatter the fruits and nuts: fill gaps with halved grapes, fig quarters, and strawberry slices. Nestle Marcona almonds around clusters of fruit and cheese.
  5. Add olives and honey: place olives in a small ramekin or scatter near the meats. Drizzle honey over the Brie or serve it in a small jar with a honey dipper.
  6. Garnish with edible flowers and herbs: carefully place pansies, nasturtiums, and viola flowers around the board. Tuck rosemary or thyme sprigs between elements.
  7. Final touches: check for empty spots and add extra grapes or nuts to balance colors and textures. Keep a small bowl nearby for discarded stems or pits during the event.
  8. Keep everything chilled until 15 minutes before serving to maintain freshness but allow cheeses to soften slightly.

Notes

Keep everything chilled until 15 minutes before serving to maintain freshness but allow cheeses to soften slightly. Use only edible, pesticide-free flowers. Fold meats loosely for a light, airy look. Group items in odd numbers (3s or 5s) for a natural artistic vibe. Avoid prepping the entire board too far in advance to prevent sogginess.
